Refund Policy
How refunds work for Depthonix license purchases. In short: a full-featured Trial lets you confirm compatibility before you buy, so purchases are generally final — but we will make things right in the case of a genuine billing or technical fault on our side, and we honour the rights the law gives you.
1. All sales are final
All sales are final. Because Depthonix is digital software delivered as a license, we generally do not offer refunds once a license has been issued or the software has been downloaded and activated.
2. Try before you buy
Every account receives a full-featured Trial before any purchase. The Trial exists precisely so you can confirm, to your own satisfaction, that Depthonix works with your specific glasses and hardware and delivers the experience you want before you decide to pay. Because compatibility and experience can vary by device, we strongly encourage you to complete this evaluation during the Trial.
3. When we may still issue a refund
A blanket "no refunds under any circumstances" is not how we operate, and it would not override the rights the law gives you. We review refund requests in good faith and may issue a refund in exceptional circumstances, including:
- ›Duplicate payment — you were charged more than once for the same license.
- ›Billing error — you were charged an incorrect amount, or charged but never received a valid license.
- ›Unauthorized charge — a payment made without your authorization, confirmed by our review.
- ›Unresolved technical fault — a defect proven to originate from the software itself that prevents it from functioning as intended, and which our support team is unable to resolve within a reasonable time.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law. Where such law grants you a right to a refund, that right applies regardless of the general rule above.
4. What is not covered
Outside the circumstances above and your statutory rights, refunds are not ordinarily provided for:
- ›A change of mind after purchase.
- ›Compatibility or experience limitations that could reasonably have been identified during the Trial.
- ›Issues caused by third-party hardware, drivers, or operating-system changes outside our control.
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us at support@depthonix.com within a reasonable time of the charge, from the email address on your account. Please include your account email, the approximate date of purchase, and a description of the issue — and, for a technical fault, the steps already taken with our support team. We aim to respond within a reasonable period, and where a refund is approved it is returned to the original payment method through our payment provider.
